How to Get Stains Out of Your Clothes

Stains are a headache. Here's how to give yourself the best shot at removing them:
- Act fast
The sooner you treat a stain, the better. Rinse with cold water right away so it doesn't set. - Use the right products
Grease needs a grease-fighting detergent; wine may need a specialized remover. Read the label. - Check the care label
Some fabrics need special treatment, and the wrong product can do more damage than the stain. - Treat before washing
Once treated, wash as usual — and avoid hot water, which sets stains. - Repeat as needed
If it doesn't come out the first time, treat it again before drying.
Note: our wash & fold service is basic washing and drying, not stain removal, though we can add a color-safe bleach alternative on request.
